Japanese Pokémon booster boxes no longer come factory-sealed with shrink wrap. Unlike English boxes, which are sealed at the Pokémon printing facility, Japanese boxes are shipped to official distributors without shrink wrap and are secured internally with a perforated sticker tab under the top flap.

Any shrink wrap you sometimes see on Japanese boxes is applied after leaving the Pokémon Company, usually by middlemen or retailers for extra protection—not as an official factory seal.

Because of this, a lack of shrink wrap does not mean the product has been tampered with or opened. All boxes sold by Mankey Business are sourced directly from trusted distributors and are 100% authentic.
