The boxes were very fairly priced, shipping was very prompt, and everything way packaged super well- the boxes were wrapped in bubble wrap, then a thick brown paper and a sticker held the paper together. They were also put in to a well fitting box so they didn't rattle around in transit. I also got fantastic hits from my boxes (Umbreon EX from terastal and the eevee full illustration from Vol 2!) so they are definitely worth, and trustworthy! Would 100% get cards from them again (:
This was cool, the pricing is great and the packaging and speed it was received in was awesome. I got 10 packs and unfortunately no hits, may have just been the way the dice rolled but left me skeptical on buying loose packs again.

Assuming the name you used to leave the review matches the name on your order, you picked up 13 packs spread across 10 different Japanese sets. Most of those were single packs, with just a couple of sets at two packs each. With Japanese product, the “guaranteed hits” people talk about are structured at the box level, not the pack level. For example, sets like Triplet Beat are guaranteed to contain 1 Secret Rare (SR) or higher and 3 Art Rares (ARs) per booster box (30 packs). That means your odds of hitting one of those higher-rarity cards in just 1–2 random packs is statistically very low — in fact, not hitting anything beyond holos is actually the most likely outcome in a sample that small.
I want to be very clear: I never weigh, scan, or manipulate packs. Every loose pack sold through Mankey Business comes straight from factory-sealed boxes and is handled with integrity. What you experienced is simply the natural variance that comes with buying loose packs instead of full boxes.
I absolutely understand the disappointment when luck doesn’t swing your way — it’s part of the highs and lows of ripping packs. But I hope this explanation helps clear up why your results turned out the way they did. And I do appreciate you recognizing our pricing, packaging, and shipping speed — I put a lot of care into every order.

I stumbled across the Mankey Business site and was intrigued one because of product and two because we love Mankey too. Our last name is Manko and when I ordered and communicated with Stuart he was kind enough to create two custom boosters for my son's 9th birthday. I found Mankey business from several Tiktok pack-rippers and decided to give them a try. Blown away by the way they run this store and the affordable prices for these packs. I bought a small order first time and immediately reordered some more full boxes again a week or so later. Love buying from here especially for Japanese pokemon packs. Stuart was so nice to reach out to me to help reduce my $ spent on the taxes and shopify fees. Great communication on back ordering and shipping infos. The items are legit/real. All booster boxes are seal and even without shrink wrap they are untampered with. They spend a good effort and time to protect these boxes during shipping so kuddos to them. Will definitely do business again when I can afford to splurge some more~

I don't write reviews for businesses often, and especially not for Pokemon cards. Recently so many small card shops have cashed in their morals and audiences to chase hype and a quick buck. I can't blame them, really, but I've chosen to only do business with shops that see something beyond the currently moment, and that's why I'm tying this all up.
When shops keep prices low and keep the hobby alive during these gold rushes, it's important to remember them when this all inevitably goes back to normal and shops that chased a dollar try to pretend like nothing happened. Mankey Business is the shop I'll keep using, even when the cushy times for shops end, because they were principled when it was easy not to be.
They ship fast, package securely, etc. etc. all the things you want out of a shop. When something was delayed, I heard about it early and often, with a discount code to make it right. My boxes had all the hits they should have had, and there were a few extras thrown in like the good old days. This isn't too good to be true, it's just how things should be, and I hope you join me in supporting good people and good businesses like this one.
Bought 2k worth of terastal festival, ripped only the roughest looking box to verify authenticity of contents and pulled a demigod pack which included leafeon, vaporeon and umbreon! This store is a godsend! Love how you’re not taking advantage of Pokémon fans like many other stores are in this market. You’ve got a big time customer now!
